Make Up from M&S and Dior! - Review

Dior and Marks & Spencer in one post?.. Yes!

Marks and Spencer Dior Make Up

Is it just me or are the weeks flying buy? I'm not complaining at all, the sooner summer comes the better! The past few days I have ran low on most of my everyday makeup products. My mascara has started to dry up, I smashed my bronzer (oops) and lost my MAC blusher (even more oops) So what does that call for? I'll give you 3 guesses, it begins with 'H' and ends in 'L' yes that's right, a makeup HAUL!

2. M&S Limited Collection Bronzer
3. M&S Limited Collection Blusher

1. My mum bought be this Dior mascara for the first time a few years ago and it is one of my all time favourite mascaras. I love a big and full wand to grab all those tiny hairs in the inner corners of my eyes and surprisingly, it is very easy to control despite the size of the brush. Once I had finished that particular mascara I tried numerous drug store mascaras from all the popular brands. I found a few that I liked from No7 and SEVENTEEN from Boots but I have eventually went back to this Dior one! I adore the packaging and there is just something nice in heading to the Dior counter and getting your product all wrapped up and put in that gorgeous white carrier bag. I know for a fact that this mascara will last me a long time and if it is good enough for the Dior backstage makeup artists then its good enough for me!

2. The bronzer that I had unfortunately smashed due to my clumsiness was the (put on your best French voice) Bourjois Delice de Poudre bronzing powder. You may know it better as the bronzer in the little cardboard book that smells like chocolate! I loved this bronzer and I had no problems with it, I would certainly repurchase it but I was in Marks and Spencer the other day and I spotted this cute little bronzer. I must admit that it was the pretty floral packaging that drew me to it. I haven't tested it yet (I find it hard to 'ruin' new and smooth products! haha) but at less than £5 I couldn't NOT buy it. I am excited to try this out.

3. Yes I did a bad thing, I lost my good MAC blusher... *cries*... The worst part is, I would say that I am highly organised so things don't go out of my sight for too long. I was staying in a hotel with the family last week and I think it got caught up in the bedsheets when we were packing up to come home. So yes, devastated. I would buy another one but my closest MAC counter is 40 miles away! This little blusher caught my eye whilst I was in M&S, you can't really see in the photo but it has a apricot hint to it (Damson) and it is a very similar shade to my MAC blush. I have pale skin with red undertones so I don't think a pink blush looks good on me, I much prefer a blusher of this shade as I think it looks more natural on me. At £4 it was a lot cheaper than my MAC blusher, let's hope it is just as nice on!

4. In my MAC Ruby Woo lipstick review post I mentioned that I wanted a coral lipstick for Spring/Summer. I was going to purchase one of them lip crayons that nearly all the drugstore brands do or a lip stain. I wasn't brave enough for this so I ended up buying this little beauty! It's not too orange which I like, I wanted something with a subtle hint of orange/coral. This particular lipstick has a pinkish tone to it so I don't have to worry about it being to over-the-top! This is a glossy lipstick and it is highly moisturising. It feels a lot like my Revlon Lip Butter lipstick (which I also highly recommend!) and it has the added bonus of being SPF 30 so it will be absolutely perfect for taking with me on my summer holiday this year. It was only £8.50 which is very reasonable and it has 4.5/5 star reviews online. The only thing that i am not sure about is the staying power. I love a long lasting lipstick but i'll soon see how this one holds out!
