The Boxing Day sales: River Island and Boots!

Yes I am one of those early-bird boxing day shoppers! I go every year without fail and even though I only get about 6 hours hours sleep on Christmas night, I feel like this little haul made it worthwhile. I only got to a few shops so I can go home and hop into bed after! (and save some cash).

First stop was River Island and I must say for the first year ever I got nearly everything that I eyed out from the website! I love these 'Amelie' jeggings which are very similar to the fit of the Molly jeggings that I am wearing in this post. The black and white top to the left is also stunning on, those panels work wonders let me tell you!

Not that I needed any of this but what else am I to spend Christmas money on? I can't think of anything better haha. Check out more sale items on the River Island website at www.riverisland.com

After spending an hour in River Island the next stop was Boots. I have an advantage card so I like to treat myself to something every year. The Ted Baker sets took my eye this time, I LOVED the packaging and I think that the little box will so so cute sitting on my dressing table. I also thought that these makeup brushes looked really cute with the carry case that comes with them. I haven't actually got any travel makeup brushes so these will definitely come in handy for holidays! All of the gift sets were half price which is such good value. If you can be bothered getting up then Boots is a great shout on Boxing Day, especially if you have any birthdays coming up. You get so much for your money. In the end I came out with a large bag having only spent £19 + points!

Lastly, I was in need of a 2015 diary as its the only way I can keep my life on track at the moment with exams and everything (dramatic haha). I am literally lost without one so I picked up this hardback week-to-view diary in Boots for £5. It reminds me of the ones you can get in Cath Kidston with the floral design.

All in all I don't think I done too badly and I didn't arrive home with LOADS of stuff. As they say, it's only a bargain if you need it, right?!

Did you go to the Boxing Day sales? What did you pick up?

  4. Hi Francesca, thank you for your comment! I wouldn't be able to shop the sales online as I am so picky, I need to see the thing in real life! At least you kept your money, I will probably regret buying the half of this! haha x

  7. You picked up some fab stuff in the sales! I haven't had time to check the sales out as I've been working, maybe I should have looked online! I love RI jeans, they're all I ever wear, they're fairly pricey though and the fact they don't do student discount (yet!) sucks

  8. Oh wow, these are amazing buys! I'm terrified by the prospect of sale shopping but I've read so many posts on excellent Boxing Day and Black Friday finds, I MUST get myself started next year! xx
